The Health Span Project · Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how The Health Span Project collects, uses, and protects your personal and health-related data. It is provided for transparency and to support your rights under applicable privacy laws. This app is a lifestyle coaching and tracking tool; it is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how The Health Span Project ("we", "us", or "the Service") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal and health-related data when you use our mobile application and related services. This app is a behavioral coaching and tracking tool, not a medical device or clinical service.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, and authentication credentials. Profile information: age, gender, height, weight, stated health considerations, supplements and support, movement limitations, training experience, and primary objectives. Lifestyle and training data: food logs, fasting sessions, supplement logs, sodium logs, workout scores, benchmark submissions, and progress photos. Biometric data: manually logged or wearable-synced heart rate, VO2 max, HRV, step count, active calories, zone minutes, and blood glucose readings (continuous glucose monitor or manual finger-prick logs).

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: (a) generate and display your personalized training, nutrition, and fasting protocols; (b) visualize trends in your biometric and performance metrics for your own self-monitoring; (c) allow your assigned coach to review your logs and provide lifestyle guidance; (d) administer your account, membership, and benchmark submissions; and (e) improve the quality and educational content of the Service. We do not use your data to diagnose, treat, or manage any medical condition.

4. Health Data Is Not Medical Advice

All biometric and metabolic data displayed in the app — including glucose curves, lipid audits, and biological-age estimates — is provided for educational and self-monitoring purposes only. It is never a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a substitute for professional medical advice. You must never adjust, discontinue, or titrate any prescribed medication (including insulin, metformin, blood-pressure, or thyroid medication) based on app content or tracked data without explicit instructions from your prescribing physician.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure managed by our platform provider. Access to personally identifiable and biometric records is restricted to authenticated users and authorized administrative staff. We apply encryption in transit and at rest. Despite these safeguards, no system can guarantee absolute security; we continuously monitor and harden our infrastructure to protect your information.

6. Who Can See Your Data

Your individual logs and biometric data are visible to you and, where applicable, to the coach assigned to your account for the purpose of delivering the Service. Aggregated, de-identified data may be used for product improvement and research. We do not sell your personal or health data to any third party, advertiser, or data broker.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and log data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support; we will remove your personal data in accordance with applicable law.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us through the Support channel in the app. We will verify your identity before acting on any request.

9. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a confirmed data breach affecting your personal or health data, we will promptly investigate, contain the incident, and notify affected users and relevant authorities in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Services

The app may integrate with third-party platforms (such as wearable-device providers and payment processors) to display data you have authorized those services to share with us. These third parties operate under their own privacy policies; we encourage you to review them. We only process the data they transmit to us as described in this policy.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the version date below and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact The Health Span Project support through the in-app Support channel.

By using The Health Span Project you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
